Original Art

Invest in Mandy Stacey Original Photo Art. Combining beautiful, colourful imagery and storytelling, each art piece is unique, numbered, and signed by the artist.

Since 2016, Mandy Stacey changed career to follow her passion. She is now a full-time Visual Artist living in Denmark with her own Art Gallery and Gift Shop “The House Of Many Colours” on the Harbour-front in Allinge, Bornholm.

When asked why she became an artist, this is what Mandy Stacey said:

"Well, I’ve always had a colourful life! And I have colour synesthesia and heightened senses. So, I live in my own techni-coloured, super-stimulated world. And I draw on this - and the fascinating world around us - to create modern, colourful, multi-sensory PhotoArt that I hope will take you on a journey of discovery.

I call it PhotoArt because it combines my photo-based imagery with storytelling, colour and sensory experiences. My aim is to invite people to immerse themselves into my magical universe – a thought-provoking and inspiring journey that explores both a sense of place and what it means to be human.

My creative process begins with capturing a little slice of life that catches my eye, with my camera. This can be an intriguing colour or an interesting visual detail. Later, I edit it to match what I’d seen in my mind’s eye. I then use it as a building block to make my PhotoArt Collections or Montages. The final artwork is multi-sensory – with an audio story behind it, often with accompanying music, light, texture, and scent. My preferred medium is Backlit Acrylic to mimic the vibrancy with which I see colours."

In 2020 the UK Covid-Lockdowns made her art career permanent. Mandy Stacey used that time to bring all of her ideas and creative imagery and writing together to produce an entire portfolio of original artworks. She opened a Home Gallery with 12 individual PhotoArts as a test for her immersive Art Experience.

Many of these original works are displayed here. A number of her more autobiographical artworks are available on request.

In 2025, beyond the Bornholm Gallery, Mandy Stacey is working on “The Colours Of Copenhagen” PhotoArt and looking to expand her Webshop for sales of her London PhotoArt.

Longer term, she plans is to open a full-scale, multi-media Gallery Experience using her PhotoArt to explore the world of colour…
