On 29 March 2023, Oluf Høst Museum in Gudhjem opened its doors for its 25th Anniversary Season with 3 special exhibitions. Alongside "Oluf Høst in Berlin" and leading Danish artist Michael Kvium, Mandy Stacey created an exhibition in the Garden Studio called "Mindet Om Ole" ("Remembering Ole") telling the story of the artist's son who was tragically killed fighting on the Eastern Front in WW2. Mandy Stacey, as an international contributor, used her own PhotoArt and emotive storytelling, alongside the colourful paintings of the young artist Ole W. Høst, sharing the same colour palettes of Bornholm both then and now. The highlight of the show was an entire Photowall of Bornholm images acting as a backdrop to Ole W Høst's accomplished self-portrait.

The well-attended launch event gained coverage on Bornholm's TV2 including an interview with Mandy Stacey about her work and inspiration, as well as press coverage. The exhibition ran for the 2023 season, closing on 21 October 2023.
